Krapf is a progressive rock/metal band based in Baltimore, Maryland. The project is headed by multi-instrumentalist & singer/songwriter Isaac Krapf. Their first work “Seasick” was released in 2020 at the beginning of the COVID Pandemic. Throughout quarantine Krapf continued writing and in 2021 released their second record “The Hollow”. In November of 2022 Krapf released their third record titled “Gates”.
The band has opened for Black Stone Cherry, Paul Reed Smith’s band “Eightlock” and Wednesday 13. Their latest single “Marrowbone” released this March and the band is set to release a self-titled record in 2026.
In a review, Zone Nights blog described the songs as “Intense….aggressive, but at the same time melodic.” This is mainly due to their instrumentation which includes clean chordal guitar work layered over heavy bottom end guitars.
