New Irresistible Indie Pop “Good Scar” by Ava Franks

New single from indie pop riser Ava Franks. “Good Scar” is an irresistible indie pop track all about feeling brave in the face of new love. She shares, “You know that, down the road, this person might break your heart, but that doesn’t even faze you. You just want everything with them, the good and the bad.” “Good Scar” features sparkling synths, driving bass guitars and ethereal background vocals, building a captivating soundscape fit for the first scenes of a romance.

Ava collaborated with acclaimed multi-platinum producers/writers Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta.

Ava Franks is an indie pop artist based in New York. She’s inspired by the storytelling of singer-songwriters like Sarah McLachlan, and by the dream-like soundscapes of pop artists like Lorde. Ava has been singing since she can remember and, as a child, always enjoyed taking piano lessons and performing in school musicals. In 2021 she released her first single, “3 Pines,” and since then has released six more, the latest being an indie pop track called “Every Day,” which garnered attention from Earmilk and LADYGUNN, among others.

Ava writes about coming of age and falling in love. She continues to reflect on what it’s like being in your early twenties, figuring it all out: one song at a time.
