Tech death guitarist and composer Matt Miller is gearing up for a high velocity spring with the launch of the 3 Shredders Tour, a lead guitar driven showcase featuring shred icon Rene Benton and explosive guitar virtuoso Manuel Urgiles. The tour kicks off this April and channels the spirit of legendary guitar events like the G3 Tour, only heavier, faster, and rooted firmly in the extreme metal world.
The run supports Matt Miller’s latest LP, “Fiber Tormentum,” a sci fi infused technical death metal journey praised for its precision, atmosphere, and relentless musicianship.
To celebrate the upcoming tour, Matt Miller has released a brand new guitar playthrough video for “Abiotic Origin”. The video showcases Miller’s signature blend of sci fi atmosphere, hyper technical riffing, and cinematic composition. “Abiotic Origin” stands as one of the defining tracks on “Fiber Tormentum,” capturing the album’s fusion of futuristic storytelling and extreme musicianship.
The 3 Shredders Tour unites three elite players known for pushing the boundaries of modern metal guitar. In addition to Rene Benton’s blistering lead work, fans will also see him joined by Kelly Conlon, the legendary bassist formerly of Death, who performed on the iconic album “Symbolic” and toured with the band during that era. Conlon’s presence adds a historic and unmistakable layer of prestige to the tour’s lineup.
Adding even more star power, audiences will have the chance to meet Biko Wright, Matt Miller’s vocalist and a fan favorite survivalist from History Channel’s Alone and Discovery’s Expedition Bigfoot. His crossover appeal continues to draw both metal fans and viewers of his television work.
