Portland, Maine — WormHoleDeath Records artist MANUEL will celebrate the release of the EP Parasite with a headline show at BLUE in Portland, Maine on Friday, September 18. The performance marks the project’s official release celebration for the six-track EP, which arrived earlier this year via WormHoleDeath Records.
Parasite blends progressive metal, Latin rhythms, and heavy riffs across its six tracks, reflecting the scope MANUEL has grown into as a live and recorded project. The EP’s worldwide release through WormHoleDeath Records represented a significant milestone for the project.
The September 18 show will feature support from Hands of Stone, Innervein, and Destination Void.
MANUEL’s live lineup for the performance includes:
Jason Ingalls — Drums
Ryan Cummings — Guitar
Thomas Hiscock — Bass
DJKTF — Percussion / Keys
“I also want to give a huge shoutout to Evan Sammons,” said Manuel, “who mixed and mastered Parasite and helped give these songs the sound, weight, and energy I wanted them to have.”
MANUEL has never been a solo undertaking in practice — the project reflects the contributions of its musicians, collaborators, and the audience that has supported it through listens, shares, purchases, and live shows. The September 18 event is intended as a celebration of that collective effort.
The night will also include MANUEL merch giveaways throughout the show.
