LITTLE KING Posts New Studio Video “Keyboard Soldier” + “Lente Viviente” Tour Recap

Hitting the road with three decades of songwriting, storytelling, and sonic evolution behind them, Phoenix’s Little King spent this past March bringing their “Lente Viviente Tour” to stages across New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and even a surprise pop up show in Mexico. Now, the band is offering fans a deeper look behind the scenes.

Little King has published a full tour blog with videos, sharing first hand accounts of life on the road, the shows, the fans, the chaos, the gratitude, along with live performance clips captured throughout the run.

Alongside the blog, the band has also released a new studio video of “Keyboard Soldier,” recorded live to tape at Strange Daze Studios in El Paso, TX, during a March 5 rehearsal. The track originally appeared on their 2021 album “Amuse De Q.”

Formed in 1997, Little King’s recent tour showcased material from across their eight album catalog, over 30 years of music defined by thoughtful lyricism, dynamic arrangements, and a deeply emotional core that continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.

Their latest album, “Lente Viviente” (released September 2025), has quickly become the most critically acclaimed release in the band’s history. Featuring new members Dave Hamilton (bass) and Tony Bojorquez (drums), the record explores themes of memory, identity, aging, addiction, resilience, and the human condition through tightly crafted “micro epics” that balance complexity with accessibility.

Frontman Ryan Rosoff describes the album as “a short, mind bending journey, like Musical DMT,” emphasizing its wide dynamic range and emotional depth. Tracks such as “Catch and Release,” “Dawn Villa,” “Pass Through Filters,” “Kindness for Weakness,” and “Who’s Illegal?” highlight the band’s ability to move from intimate reflection to bold social commentary with precision and heart.

Rooted in the American Southwest but shaped by global influences, Little King continues to evolve with confidence and creative fearlessness. With over 65 songs penned by Rosoff and influences ranging from Rush and Porcupine Tree to Pink Floyd, The Muse, and Night Verses, the band remains a staple for fans of art driven, progressive leaning rock.

As Little King looks ahead, they are actively seeking a new label home to support the next chapter of their career, including plans for their next tour to be announced in the near future, recording, and expanded creative projects.

“Lente Viviente” (released Sept 26th, 2025) is available on digital platforms.
