German extreme metal band Aegror have released the lyric video for “Rapist of Minds”, a track taken from their acclaimed album Reign of Disease.
Rooted in Aegror’s long-running Plaguebreeder Universe, “Rapist of Minds” explores psychological manipulation and the destruction of free will. Through torture and experimentation, a ruthless figure turns broken minds into obedient puppets, building an army for a greater force. As his plans unfold, the track reveals how the abuse of control can ultimately consume the one who wields it.
Reign of Disease
Rooted in Aegror’s Plaguebreeder Universe, Reign of Disease follows an interdimensional entity whose influence spreads through disease, fear, and psychological decay — exploring how control, paranoia, and systemic collapse corrupt both mind and body.
Musically, the album pushes Aegror beyond conventional extreme metal: relentless aggression meets haunting melody, progressive songwriting, and atmospheric depth. Crushing riffs and blast beats sit alongside melancholic, introspective passages, with each track serving the larger narrative while standing on its own.

About Aegror / Universe of the Plaguebreeder
Aegror is an extreme metal band from Kerken, Germany, founded in 2009.
The name is derived from the Latin word for “disease.”
Aegror is a conceptual artistic project combining music, storytelling, and visual identity into a dark, immersive universe.
Their sound blends atmospheric black metal with progressive and melodic elements, exploring themes of disease, psychological extremities, and real-world crises. At the center of this concept stands the Plaguebreeder — an interdimensional entity attempting to enter the human world, brought to life both in the lyrics and on stage, turning live performances into intense, narrative-driven experiences.
Since their debut, De Morbis (2010), Aegror i has continuously evolved its sound and storytelling. Forgotten Tales (2013) and Dead Man’s Diary (2017) further refined their progressive direction and conceptual depth.
After lineup changes, founding vocalist Narthaas and guitarist Abyssus continued as the band’s creative core. Their third studio album, Reign of Disease, marks a new milestone. The album received critical acclaim and achieved international chart placements, highlighting the band’s growing presence beyond the European underground. Aegror continues to push its vision forward.
