Australian hard rock/metal project 1THIRTY8 returns with “Aligned Again,” the second single and lyric video from the forthcoming debut album A Reckless Game.
“Aligned Again” addresses the experience of recognizing when one has lost direction, confronting that reality, and choosing to realign with one’s purpose — framed around the idea of taking a second chance and finding the drive to start again despite the risks involved.
The track follows lead single “In Vain” and continues to build out A Reckless Game, which combines heavy metal aggression and power with melodic hard rock songwriting and progressive, experimental arrangements. The album features guest performances from Emo Alaeddin on vocals and James Knoerl on drums, alongside Karl Szulik’s guitar and bass work, and was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni of Domination Studio. A Reckless Game is aimed at fans of heavy metal, hard rock and progressive music who value strong songwriting, dynamic arrangements and emotionally driven themes.
