Multi-platinum songwriter + rousing writing/production collaboration “Here’s Where The Story Ends”

Deluxe package of “Here’s Where The Story Ends” by rousing writing/production collaboration duo 808 BEACH (John “J-C” Carr & Bill Coleman) and multi-platinum songwriter, artist and holistic sound practitioner Belle Humble. The single is a riveting and anthemic dance / EDM rework of The Sundays’ massive hit featuring Belle Humble’s enticing colorful vocals and 808BEACH’s uplifting and irresistible production. The deluxe package features remixes by Zac Samuel, 808 BEACH, Byron The Aquarius, DANK & GLADIUS, Slowz and Juan von Carlos.

Bill Coleman of 808 BEACH shares, “The Sundays are one of my favorite bands ever. Their 1990 debut album, Reading, Writing and Arithmetic is an undisputed alternative bliss pop classic. When thinking of a follow up to our last single, “WHATEVER DADDY SAYS,” John and I thought it was important for us to showcase a different layer to what we do outside of remixes. We had been sketching out ideas of a reverent but dance-able cover of the band’s “Here’s Where The Story Ends” for a couple of years now, going back and forth on direction. Once our friend and frequent collaborator Belle Humble agreed to grace us with her talents – we were beyond inspired to finish this burgeoning idea with a clarified vision. “Here’s Where The Story Ends” as a song is already perfect both lyrically and melodically. Belle’s colorful vocal tones and approach provide just the right feeling of honoring The Sundays original whilst comfortably embracing our more dance and club-oriented productions. It was an absolute joy to complete this.”

808 BEACH have produced, reworked, re-edited or mixed a wide variety of favorites (Lizzo, Sia, Khalid, Lenny Kravitz, Billy Porter, Erasure, Arthur Baker, Sofi Tukker, Ultra Naté, Red Hot Organization). Belle Humble connects creative expression with healing and has collaborated with the likes of Freestylers and Flux Pavillion (“Cracks”), Sander van Doorn, Paloma Faith, Dub Pistols, Lexer and Tom Swoon. Together they bring a unique fusion of emotional depth and dancefloor energy to this reimagining, bridging nostalgic alternative roots with modern electronic sensibilities.

808 BEACH is the rousing writing/production collaboration duo of NYC club denizen multi-hyphenate, Bill Coleman (Deee-Lite, Ultra Naté, Sinéad O’Connor, Lenny Kravitz, Party Girl) and UK musical wunderkind John “J-C” Carr (Zayn, Christina Aguilera, Jody Watley, Pat McGrath Cosmetics). Their combined talents as 808 BEACH have produced, reworked, re-edited or mixed a wide variety of favorites (Lizzo, Sia, Khalid, Brandon Markell Holmes, Billy Porter, Erasure, Vanessa Williams, Dee Diggs, Sofi Tukker, Red Hot Organization) into dance floor, playlist and airwave ready jams.

Coleman and Carr’s genre-fluid, slick with an edge productions and remixes maintain a feel good style that never forfeits a song’s kinetic intent or an artist’s personality. The duo scored their own Top 3 club play hit with their 2024 debut nu disco smash, “WHATEVER DADDY SAYS” featuring NYC siren, Amy Douglas. With 808 BEACH – the groove is a given.
