Blending intimate pop with a confident, modern edge reminiscent of Maggie Rogers, the new single ‘Closer To You’ sees Copenhagen-based pop act Emma Lindquist fantasising about embracing seduction without irony, and daring to take one confident step after another.
Her previous single was picked up by eight international music blogs and Danish radio. ‘Closer To You’ is out toady (20 February) and marks the next chapter on the road towards her debut album ‘Hello tiger, be my friend’, due later this year.
About Emma Lindquist
Emma Lindquist (b. 1996) is a singer and songwriter, raised in Dragør and currently based in Copenhagen. She began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 14 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Roskilde University. Today, she is fully dedicated to music, working both as a solo artist and as part of the band ETVA.
‘Closer To You’ is released on 20 February 2026, with her debut album ‘Hello tiger, be my friend’ expected later this year.
