Baltimore’s KRAPF announce Upcoming Single “Mae,” Previewing Their Forthcoming Self-Titled Album

Progressive rock/metal band Krapf have announced their upcoming single “Mae,” a powerful preview of their self-titled album set to arrive at the end of 2025. The exact release date for “Mae” will be revealed soon across the band’s official platforms.

Led by multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Isaac Krapf, the band continues to define a sound that balances intensity and melody. In a review, Zone Nights Blog praised Krapf’s music as “Intense… aggressive, but at the same time melodic,” noting the band’s distinct approach to instrumentation — “clean chordal guitar work layered over heavy bottom-end guitars.”

In the past year, Krapf have gained attention for opening shows alongside Black Stone Cherry, Paul Reed Smith’s band Eightlock, and Wednesday 13, building momentum in the U.S. progressive and hard rock scenes.

With “Mae,” Krapf aim to capture the emotional and sonic complexity that defines their style, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come in their forthcoming full-length album.
