By fusing elements of metalcore, djent and nu-metal with R&B, lofi hip-hop, synth-pop and even funk-jazz, WOz set themselves apart as one of the more unique bands in the Knoxville area.

With influences ranging from LinkinPark, Issues and Periphery to Usher, The Weeknd and Post Malone, this is a band you definitely want to keep on your radar.

Started by high school friends, Jesse Golden and Dylan Russell, the band began woodshedding in the summer of 2018. What started as a simple passion-project quickly became more as the duo began recording and outsourcing for more members.

The band released its debut single “Faith” on May 28, 2021.

In July 2021, Wolves Of Oz added DJ HndRx to the lineup, taking over sampling and adding turntables to the mix.

Soon after, long-time friend, Ben Gee, stepped in and became the official bass guitarist. With the group as a four-piece, they released a metal cover of WILLOW’s ‘transparentsoul’ on September 21, 2021.
On January 7 2022, the band released its second single “Hollow” featuring Knoxville rapper Junesboy. Later that month, Wolves Of Oz partnered with ProMotion LLC out of Knoxville, playing numerous shows throughout the year.

They opened for various acts such as Left To Suffer, Adelitas Way and In The End: Linkin Park Experience.
The band released its third single “Don’t Hate the Player, Hate the Game” on November 11, 2022, followed by the official music video on January 9, 2023.

The group then released its fourth single “Cater To Your Ego” on April 7, 2023.
Wolves Of Oz is unsigned and completely independent.

You can currently catch WOz playing various shows throughout the southeast area.
