torpedo releases a single excerpt from their upcoming album “What the fucked do we all do now? | – Lights”, arriving on light 10″ vinyl October 10, alongside the second episode of their video clip “SOME WOLVES.” This excerpt is the second movement of the 22:56-minute track “| NOISE.”
Listen now on TORPEDO’s Bandcamp, where you can also pre-order the 10″ vinyl, designed to slip into the sleeve of the striking dark 12″ released in June. Together with the fanzine, video, and downloadable content, the album will be complete.
Blending noise, soundscapes, feedback loops, and dynamic poetry with noise rock, punk, industrial, and psychedelic elements, TORPEDO delivers a creatively intense, fiercely alive, and meaningful sonic manifesto—a call for resistance, resilience, and the creation of human, free, and beautiful art.
For the record
torpedo is a noise rock and psychedelic post-punk trio based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since 2016, the band has carved out a unique sonic identity, blending raw guitars, hypnotic basslines, industrial textures, and poetic urgency. Emerging from a psychedelic duo into a fully-formed trio, torpedo released their debut LP Sphynx in 2019, followed by the ambitious, collage-driven Orpheo_ Nebula in 2022 — a critically praised “devastated opera” recorded during the pandemic.
The band has toured the U.S. West Coast twice and released a string of experimental singles, including HOPE | DREAM and La Mer Ondulée. In 2025, torpedo returns with their most visceral and politically charged work to date: What the Fucked Do We All Do Now? | – Lights, a sonic manifesto for resilience and radical beauty, out via Broken Clover Records.
