One of the most exciting new acts of the year is headed outer space, taking off as “Ones to Watch” for 2025, with the release of their new R&B-pop cut, ‘Space Rock’, out today November 8th

21-year old Lea and 23-year old Samuel are ORA. They are siblings and alike, yet diametrically opposed. When they write, record and produce their music together, they tap into a dynamic energy of their own that is both introverted and extroverted, melancholic and uplifting, curious and irresistible.

Debuting in the late summer of 2024, ORA introduced a sound that melds R&B-influences with sparkly Nordic indie-pop, instantly grabbing the attention of music media and listeners worldwide with ‘Bad Day’.

Heading towards 2025, once again embracing their youthful emotional chaos with the acceptance of the fact that life isn’t always a straight line, ORA are back with the utterly catchy new single, ‘Space Rock’.

“It’s not that we dream of traveling into space but sometimes you just need to escape from it all. Get as far away as possible from all the noise and overwhelming feelings to be able to see your own little world from a new perspective – especially when it comes to unrequited love. That’s the experience ‘Space Rock’ is based on,” the duo explains.

The new single is notably produced along with the multi-platinum and award-winning producer, Jonathan Elkær, renowned as ½ of the Danish duo, Phlake.

ORA, which is their grandmother’s name meaning “sunlight”, have already gained praise from the likes of Ones To Watch (US), Dansende Beren (BE) and tmrw magazine (UK) and more is to come from the siblings in 2025!
