Founded in the spring of 2020 by artist/designer John Sorrell, Morgue Rot is a professionally printed magazine that focuses on extreme heavy metal, horror, and dark visual art.
Each issue is packed with music and horror film reviews, interviews, and a visual artist gallery. A compilation cd, entitled “The Coroner’s Playlist” accompanies each issue. Issue 6 is currently in development and will be available early August 2022. In addition to the magazine, Morgue Rot Records was formed in early 2022 and offers obscure black and death metal projects on cd format.

Join us for the first Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest!! Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at Beech Lake in Lexington, TN, all ages, rain or shine!! 13 Bands and various genres of metal! Bring your own chairs and coolers! Tickets are $25 if bought online before the show, and $35 at the gate. There will be food vendors, craft vendors, and bands and labels will be selling their merch as well! Vendors will be announced closer to the show.
