JOAQUINA ESTRENA UN DESAFIANTE Y EMOTIVO SENCILLO TITULADO “NO LLAMES LO MÍO NUESTRO”

Today, Venezuelan American singer-songwriter JOAQUINA, continues to demonstrate why she has been hailed as one of Latin music’s most gifted and fast-rising artists with the release of her new single “No Llames Lo Mío Nuestro.” Heavily influenced by legendary English & Spanish singer-songwriters, contemporary global artists, long renowned poets, and her own bi-cultural immigrant experience – combining to be a standout voice for her generation, Joaquina’s latest release captures the emotional journey of revisiting a past relationship that brought more pain than joy. When an previous partner reappears, bringing back a flood of hurtful memories, Joaquina uses the moment to definitively close that chapter and reaffirm her self-worth, and confidence in building her own better life: (Don’t Call What’s Mine ‘Ours’). A newly released video for the song, visually reinforces a young women’s emotional recollection of looking back, while also looking inside a mental resolve to adamantly still move forward.

The new release of “No Llames Lo Mío Nuestro” comes to Joaquina’s fans right on the heels of a surprise soft launch and organically/quickly viral unveiling of a just completed track entitled “El Alquimista.” A song that Joaquina was working on recently in the studio as a track for her highly anticipated full album debut, filled her with such a timely sense of pride and accomplishment upon its completion- combined with turbulent Venezuelan events, that she explained the spontaneous release on a Tik-Tok Post:

“A few days ago I put together a little piece of ‘El Alquimista’ and I received so much love from you all and so many touching messages, that it made me think about wanting to release it as soon as possible. We were finishing it for my album and it wasn’t going to come out right now, but after that, I thought it was time to release it. I didn’t expect it, thank you! I wrote this song from a very honest and vulnerable place for me. It’s a song that talks about looking around and seeing so many broken things, getting desperate and screaming because there’s no other choice…It’s a release and a song with many questions— but also a reflection that even though much around us is broken and hurts… that maybe the answers from the Alchemist are closer than we think.” – Joaquina.
