First concerts following the pandemic & Therthonax’ long battle with health issues
Follows recently released Pagan Records reissues of the band’s classic releases (with some unreleased material and first-time on vinyl)
To celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary, cult Greek black metal act Kawir has announced its return to performing live this April. The first concerts will take place in the band’s homeland of Greece in Thessaloniki (1 April) and Athens (2 April). Kawir will be sharing the stage with British act Saor, who will also be celebrating 10 years.
These will be Kawir’s first performances since the pandemic has stopped all live activity and since the founding member’s – Therthonax – recent health issues, which involved multiple heart surgeries and a long road to recovery.
Kawir commented: “It’s time to celebrate 30 years of Kawir together with Saor who are celebrating 10 years, we are waiting for you all. Χαιρε.”
