Danish post-punk inspired rock outfit BÆNCH releases a fierce and uncompromising debut EP, GO-GO-GO — a collection of six razor-sharp tracks that burn with immediacy, grit, and emotion.
Drawing on the intensity of early post-punk and the melodic instincts of modern alternative rock, GO-GO-GO is a tightly wound burst of energy. Each track thrashes against the chaos of contemporary life with driving drums, angular guitars, and a vocal delivery that shifts between vulnerable and volatile.
BÆNCH delivers a raw and intense EP packed with emotional urgency and explosive energy. “It’s an EP with a lot of fists,” the band states. “It’s about rushing ahead. That theme comes up naturally in our songwriting — and you can feel it in the tempo and intensity.”
“We wanted this EP to feel like running through a city at night — wired, restless, half- lost and half-awake,” says the band. “It’s music for when you can’t sit still, for when everything feels like it might fall apart — but hasn’t yet.”
From the explosive opener ‘Skipped A Step’ to the bruised closer ‘Bloody Feeling’, GO-GO-GO captures the sound of a band in motion — urgent, unsentimental, and alive. It follows up BÆNCH’s previous singles with a tighter, leaner sound and a more direct lyrical approach, embracing themes of anxiety, alienation, and the ever-present itch to escape.
2024 was a breakthrough year for the band from Horsens, Denmark. With a huge national tour, heavy rotation on National Radio DR P6 Beat and Amazing Radio (UK), airplay on BBC Radio 1, and their international debut at Reeperbahn Festival confirmed BÆNCH’s place as one of Denmark’s most promising new rock acts.
Named as one of VEGA’s “Udvalgte” artists for 2025, BÆNCH is set to perform at SPOT Festival & Roskilde Festival, and several headline shows across Denmark and Germany. With recent praise from media such as Clash Magazine, Dork, and GAFFA, the band is building serious momentum both at home & abroad. With GO-GO-GO, the band is ready to reach new ears and take their restless energy beyond borders.
