Australian progressive rock outfit Souls of Ambience inked a deal with Wormholedeath Records for their highly anticipated debut album, “A 1000 Tears,” set to be unleashed on October 4th, 2024.

A Symphony of Darkness and Light
A cross between Gothic, Progressive, Acid, and Psychedelic Rock with a bit of blues thrown in, stemming from a classical English background. Their debut album ‘A 1000 Tears’ has a haunting keyboard repertoire with a complimentary lead guitar backed by a strong bass rhythm.

The lyrics are surrealistic, moving, and beautifully poetic, covering a range from social commentary, through domestic violence topics to the beyond-life ethereal.

The music evokes the subconscious, and the lyrics transcend boundaries.

A Story of Loss, Resilience, and Hope
The concept album ‘a 1000 Tears’ intricately weaves the downward spiral story of a young woman who, driven by the need to shield her sibling from their abusive stepfather, finds herself on a harrowing path. From dressing in black to confront him to escaping to Grey Street, St Kilda, her narrative unfolds amidst the stark realities of street life. The album delves into themes of loss, resilience, and spiritual transcendence, offering a poignant reflection on the profound impacts of trauma and the quest for healing and redemption.
