NAYAH drops bold club anthem about flirting – on her own terms

NAYAH returns with new music, revealing yet another facet of her upcoming debut album. While her spring single ‘all my friends are growing up’ balanced melancholy and euphoria, ‘catch my love’ comes across as more direct. This time, NAYAH finds herself in the midst of an intense encounter with a potential flirt – and makes it clear she’s the one setting the boundaries.

“It’s a song about feeling attraction and excitement while still standing strong in yourself. You can have a bit of fun with someone without giving your whole self away”, says NAYAH. In other words, ‘catch my love’ is about owning your feelings and desires and daring to say yes to connection without losing yourself in the process.

Feminine, cheeky and in control
With flirtatious synth hooks, pulsing rhythms and a shimmering Y2K universe, the single strikes a tone of both control and seduction. The production by Sebastian Owens and Marcus Elkjer (Svea S, Bifald) delivers tight, pop-driven energy, while NAYAH’s vocals and attitude set the confident tone.

Next step towards her debut album
The single is the second glimpse of NAYAH’s debut album, set for release this autumn. The first single, ‘all my friends are growing up’, was playlisted on New Music Friday Denmark and received attention from international outlets such as InMusic and Buzz Slayers.
It was also picked up by Wordplay Magazine, who wrote: “The track captures the bittersweet moment when the dancefloor starts to feel a little less crowded, and the weight of adult life begins to settle in.”

With ‘catch my love’, NAYAH sharpens her sonic identity and makes it clear she’s not here to blend in.

Mini bio
Since her debut, NAYAH has been known for her R&B-inspired pop and her ability to write songs with both attitude and emotion. In 2015, her track ‘Bad Bitches’ was selected as Track of the Week on P3, Denmark’s most influential radio station for breaking new artists and shaping future stars, and GAFFA – the country’s leading music magazine – called her “a rising pop star”. Since then, she has landed a spot on New Music Friday Denmark with every single.
