New album from Arizona based cactus pop (spaghetti western, cinematic, folk drenched-indie pop) artist Sidney Bird. Called desert person, the ten track album “is a collection of songs I wrote over the past couple of years based on the idea of relationships, either family relationships, love relationships or friendships or the relationship we have with ourselves,” proclaims the artist.

Sidney Bird has collaborated with the likes of Noah Kahan and producer Jackson Hoffman (Meg Smith, Hayes Warner) with her music being streamed nearly 10+ million times. She is set to headline her third tour in 250-cap venues including Mercury Lounge. The artist has previously supported Hans Williams, Natasha Bedingfield, Quarters of Change and performed with Dierks Bentley.

Sidney Bird is a southwestern darling making a name for herself in Arizona. Bird holds her own in the scene of western pop artists like Kacey Musgraves and Leon Bridges, but also leans into the indie pop scene like artists Maggie Rogers and Noah Kahan.

Sidney has opened for artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Hans Williams, and Quarters of Change. And recently performed with country singer Dierks Bentley in Scottsdale in front of 10,000 people. She co-wrote her songs, “Bad Timing” and “Wild” with artist Noah Kahan.

Her new album is entitled desert person and is a 10 track collection of cactus pop songs chronicling various relationships including friendships, family relationships, love relationships and even the relationship we have with ourselves.
